It has a solid brass grill at the front that prevents the squirrels (red, grey, black) from getting their body past this point. The inside of the feeder has baffles that keeps the seed out of their reach! It also keeps out large birds like grackles and starlings!! Perfect!
The bracket can be mounted on fence, deck rail, shed, virtually anywhere. It also has a loop for hanging flowers or plants.
The feeder comes off the bracket (four solid brass nuts attach it) for easy cleaning.
